Below we present the record of meetings the Managers held during 1874.  Entries in the Minute Book continue to be few (see overviews for 1872 and 1873).  There was only one substantive meeting recorded (8th July).  Mr Taylor, having been in post as Master for 18 months, appeared to have impressed the Government Inspector during his annual summer visit.

That a candidate be selected for male Pupil Teachership  

The Holidays to commence July 17 and terminate August 17th.

Proposed by Mr Deane and seconded by Mr Roumieu that a sum of £5 be given to Mr Taylor in recognition of the pains he has taken and the improvement that has ensued in the school during his Mastership.
