Ruislip Church of England School
Finances - 1900

The Revd Thomas Marsh Everett had made two vigorous appeals for funding to cover the significant expenditure on upgrading the School House in the 1899 editions of Parish Magazine.  It is not know the extent to which this debt had been cleared by the time of his death in February 1900.  However, the Parish Magazine for May that year was able to identify the cost of the works had been fully met.

In the June Parish Magazine there was the regular annual appeal for those wealthier parishioners who had promised financial support for the school ('Subscribers') to make their payment:

The Ruislip Church of England School Managers are now about to make up the accounts for the year.  Will those subscribers who have not yet sent their subscripts kindly do so at an early date to Mr. Edwin Ewer, Ruislip, who has been appointed School Correspondent and Treasurer pro tem.?

Publication of the Annual accounts followed somewhat later than normal in the November Parish Magazine:
