1937 ~ Diocesan Inspection Report

Bishop Winnington-Ingram CE School

Transcript of London Diocesan Board of Education Inspection Reports
Visit of 8th July 1937 by the Rev. Prebendary E.H.Williams-Ashman and the Rev. A.H.Morris.

The School continues to do very good steady work from the point of view of religious instruction and training.  The work is carefully planned along the lines of the Diiocesan Syllabus, it has been well covered in the classes, and the answers and attitude of the children were a very good testimony to the skill and efficiency of the Teachers.  The Infants’ classes might do rather more ‘free’ expression work, and could do more with pictures, and at the top a further supply of Prayer Books and Bibles is needed.

Diocesan Inspector.
