There were no meetings in 1939

Below we present the single record of a meeting the Managers held during 1940.

The school air raid shelter was under construction at the time of the meeting, Thomas Wilkinson’s note in the Log Book for March 13th of ‘Internal shelter completed, accommodation 340.’ should be understood as being on the school site, rather than in the building itself!  

There were no records of meetings in 1941 or 1942

Meeting of Managers 13/2/40

Present: The Vicar in the Chair
Messrs W.D. Lees. A.A. Hanhart, D.W. Carter and C.E. Urquhart.
  The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed
  The Headmaster reported that Mr A.G. Robson had been granted leave of absence for the duration of war, from 16/9/39.

The Headmaster also reported on the provision of the school shelter.

Mr D.W. Carter reported that he had interviewed Mr Batten with regard to the defective water pipes.
