1991 ~ Yorkshire - 1

From the 29th to the 31st January a group of children
from Pannal Ash near Harrogate had visited London for three days,
staying with children from BWI.

This was part of a reciprocal arrangement, with the Fourth Year (Year 6)
children visiting Yorkshire for three days in the autumn and staying with
families from Pannal Ash.

So, on 8th October the Fourth Year set off for Yorkshire.
After a break half way the group arrived at York.
Time to explore the City, the Minster and visit Jorvik.

But first - LUNCH!
But finding somewhere to sit wasn't easy.

Having spent the afternoon in York it was time to head for Pannal Ash.
Mr Knowles - that is Mr Chris Knowles (son of Mr Dennis Knowles)
- a teacher at the school, greets the party.

Luggage is unpacked from the coach ....

and all the children are assembled outside the school.

Then it's inside the school and pair up BWI guests with Pannal Ash hosts.
