1993 ~ The Summer Fete -
Mr Knowles' 60th Birthday

The 15th May, the school fete, and a special celebration,
for Mr. Knowles had reached his 60th birthday.

There's was also a special guest
as the Mayor, Cllr George Booth,
came to open the event
and enjoy the day.
Cllr Booth had also been the school's
Chair of Governors for many years.

Family members also came to share in their  husband's, father's and grandfather's special day.

No birthday is complete without a cake, and WHAT a cake - with 60 candles!

Having blown out all 60 candles,
time to cut the cake.

Then off to enjoy all the 'fun of the fair'

The end of a busy, exciting
and memorable day
- and to celebrate
- a well earned pint!
